    Yuliya's editorial photography has a unique style, crafting images that feel simultaneously curated and spontaneous, simple and complicated. This approach brings an expressive depth to her work, inviting viewers to connect with each image as part of a larger, open-ended story.

    After studying photography while living and working in Lithuania, Russia, and Vietnam, her commercial work has thrived over the past 8 years in Qatar, working with a broad range of fashion houses and publications. Current clients include luxury fashion, art and travel brands, and international print publications.

    Yuliya's work included in INTAJAT reflects the stark contrasts and unexpected synergies between tradition and modernity in Qatar, as well as the interaction between nature and material; exploring themes of identity, transformation, and human connection. As an expat living in Qatar, she is inspired to capture the nation’s cultural vibrancy and to share details perceived from a unique perspective. The rarity of time and place is deeply evoked through her images of Qatar, from a lens of both a tentative insider and a thoughtful outsider.

    As a serious and studious child in Belarus, Yuliya found solace in telling human stories through the disciplines of art and music.  The landscape of modern-day Qatar is the perfect canvas on which to experience timeless, universal questions, brought to the viewer to explore and search for their unique answers.
