Mubarak Nasser Al-Thani (b. 1989) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Doha, Qatar, currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is undergoing an MFA program at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). Mubarak’s work deconstructs landscapes and explores the relationship between the reconfigured elements through shapes, forms, and colors. His mediums primarily include painting and sculpture. Mubarak’s previous degrees - a BA in Politics from Georgetown University and an MA in Urban Planning from NYU - influence his subject matter, which tends to focus on his interests in architecture, urban planning, Travel, and culture.
