Wafaa El Sebaei

Wafaa Mohamed Ahmed El Sebaei is an Egyptian artist based in Doha, Qatar. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University (Graphics and Design Department, 2003), she is a member of the Fine Arts Syndicate in Egypt, the Qatari Fine Arts Society, and an affiliate of the Souq Waqif Art Center.

Throughout her career, Wafaa has participated in numerous exhibitions across Egypt and Qatar, including shows at Cordoba Hall in Cairo, the Faculties of Fine Arts in Cairo, Alexandria, and Menia, as well as annual exhibitions at the Qatar Fine Arts Society from 2017 to 2024. Her work has also been featured in key group exhibitions such as Desert Colors at Katara (2015), Gaza in Our Eyes at Souq Waqif Art Center (2023), and the Souq Waqif Art Center Members Exhibitions (2015–2016).

Wafaa’s artistic practice reflects a deep engagement with cultural identity, storytelling, and social reflection, shaped by her experiences across the region.
