Maryam Al Suwaidi (1990) is a Qatari interior designer and artist with a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Design from Qatar University. Her residency at Doha’s Fire Station gallery (2016–2017) and participation in exhibitions such as ‘Majaz: Contemporary Art Qatar’ at Mathaf in 2021 have shaped her artistic journey. Al Suwaidi’s projects, including the Shurouq Collection with Doha design agency FROMM, blend traditional and contemporary aesthetics. Alongside her art, she contributes to academic discourse through her publications on urban spaces and public art in Qatar. Al Suwaidi’s work strives to address social and cultural themes, creating a dialogue that resonates across disciplines.
