Archana Bhardwaj is an accomplished artist and educator
based in Doha, Qatar. With a strong foundation in Fine Arts, she holds a Master
of Fine Arts (MFA) from Dr. Bhima Rao Ambedkar University, Agra, India, and a
Master of Philosophy (M. Phil). A deep passion has marked her artistic journey
for painting and drawing, which she channels into both creating eye-catching
works and teaching aspiring artists. She aims to inspire others through her art
and gain knowledge from fellow artists.
Currently, Archana is an Associate Artist at the Souq Waqif
Art Center in Doha, where she showcases her creations. She also serves as a
visiting faculty member at the Institute of Performing Arts in Doha, Qatar.
Before her work in Qatar, she worked as a Fine Arts Teacher at the Kendriya
Vidyalaya Sangathan in Firozabad, India.
Her art has been featured in numerous local and
international exhibitions, including prestigious venues such as Hamad
International Airport, Qatar, the Katara Cultural Village, and the MIA in Doha.
She has participated in group exhibitions organized by notable cultural
institutions like the Qatar Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Indian
Embassy. Archana has also held live painting events at several major festivals
and cultural celebrations in Qatar, contributing her talents to events like the
Katara European Jazz Festival, the Dhow Festival, and Ramadan festivities.
Archana's commitment to art extends beyond exhibitions, as
she actively engages in workshops and educational initiatives. She has
conducted workshops in abstract floral art, watercolor techniques, and art for
special children. She is also a member of the International Artists Doha (IAD)
and Visual Art Forum India (VAFI) and is involved in various charitable art
projects.
With a background in both creating and teaching art, Archana
continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of artists while
furthering her artistic journey.
